In the Parishad app
- Open the app and sign in to your community.
- Tap your profile picture (top right), then Request account deletion.
- Confirm. We email you when the deletion is done.
Without the app
Email [email protected] from the email address you sign in with, and tell us the name or web address of your society. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account, profile and photo.
- Your messages, posts and files in the society's member areas and committees, and your app notification tokens.
- Your directory listing and preferences.
We complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request. Some records are kept where the law requires it — for example payment receipts and invoices under the Income Tax Act, 1961 and GST law — and are deleted when that period ends. Your society may keep its own membership register as required for its statutory records.
If you belong to more than one society on Parishad, tell us whether to delete your account everywhere or only for one society.
